FAQ

What is an agricultural network?

The term network implies a collaborative platform. A network is composed by a series of nodes interconnected by communication paths. In the context of international agricultural research, this term describes the coordination between regional and national institutions that exchange data and or germplasm. The network aims to develop knowledge, methodologies and germplasm as the basis for future development of plant cultivars. Furthermore, a network marshals current countries concerns and is consequently a relevant and efficient key communication model to undertake international projects.
